Auger protection

The protection of the shot blasting auger is designed to prevent the wear of an expensive element of the shot blaster - auger. Many European and Chinese manufacturers manufacture shot blaster auger armor from a large number of segments of different sizes, which significantly complicates the repair of equipment. The service of the chief mechanic has to have a huge number of types of armor plates in stock. The second option is that the protection is made in several large segments. With point wear, you have to change the entire sheet. .

To prevent unnecessary costs for our customers, we have developed a universal solution. We manufacture 1 type of armor to protect the auger, 15 mm thick, with a shoulder in overlap to avoid cracks. The mounting method is simple: the protection is installed on top of the auger, relying on the protection of the chamber, one segment after another, the extreme segment is cut off in place. Special recesses of the shot flow into the auger without difficulty. In case of partial wear of one segment of the auger protection, it can be swapped with a less worn one or replaced and work can continue. This solution is applicable for any type of shot blasting equipment.
